The equipment
We bring a dump trailer built for cleanout work. It loads fast at ground level, which is how debris, furniture, appliances and construction material go from your property to the transfer station in one trip instead of six.
Our junk removal trailer holds roughly 15 cubic yards of debris. That is close to the capacity of the smaller roll off dumpsters people use for residential, commercial and construction cleanouts.

Heavy duty hauling specs
Safes, pianos, commercial equipment, very large furniture: say so when you book. It lets us put the right dollies, straps and extra hands on the truck, which is the difference between a job that gets done today and a job that gets rescheduled. Questions about a big item? Pianos, safes, hot tubs, pool tables, commercial equipment and multi-piece sectionals often need more than one pair of hands. The standard crew is one person, and any extra crew added for safe handling shows up as labor time on the job rather than as a surprise line item.
Hauling covers material that is already detached. Light demolition (cabinets, drywall, decks, sheds, flooring, fixtures) is available at the standard hourly rate and adds time to the job. Full structural demolition needs a conversation first so we bring the right equipment.

Hazardous material and a short list of restricted items cannot go in the trailer or the dumpster: paint, solvents, fuel, asbestos, tires above the per-item rate, and a few others. Check the list before you book so nothing gets left on your driveway.

No. You do not need to be on site while the crew works. As long as we know what is going and the material is accessible, we can load and haul it without anybody there. Plenty of our Kansas City customers leave the job to us and get photo confirmation once the property is clear.

You are welcome to. It will not change the two hour minimum labor charge, but it will usually shorten the job, and the job is billed by the hour.
If you have your own crew and want to do all the loading, a live load dumpster is the other option: our driver waits while you load and hauls it away the same visit.
Every job carries a two hour minimum labor charge. A twenty minute pickup is billed as two hours.
Disposal includes 1 ton. Anything over that ton is billed by the pound off the scale ticket from the transfer station: $0.07 per pound for regular construction site material and items, and $0.10 per pound for heavy dense materials such as concrete, brick, dirt, tile and shingles.

Sometimes. A piano, a safe or a hot tub may need a second crew member, and that shows up as labor time. Tell us what the heavy items are when you book and we will quote the job with them in it rather than adding to it on the day.
No. The crew will carry items out of the house, the basement, the garage, the yard or the job site and load them. Curbside is easier and therefore quicker, but it is not required.

If a trailer tire is damaged after we arrive on your property there is a $100 onsite repair fee, or a $250 replacement fee if the tire cannot be repaired.
Cancelling with less than 24 hours notice may carry a $50 fee. If the crew arrives and the job cannot be done for reasons outside our control, a $150 dry run fee may apply.
